A new wine in the Teusner quiver. A cabernet sauvignon, 52/48% Eden Valley/Barossa Valley matured in French oak, 20% new for 20 months. Inky dark in the glass with an impressive core of pure blackberry, blackcurrant and black cherry fruit. Baking spices, tobacco leaf, violets, ground espresso, cedar, dried herbs and earth. Full bodied and fruit pure with fine, ground rock tannins and a lingering finish, there is more than enough structure here to sustain a happy life in the cellar.
