Sourced from a 1991-planted, 1.6h block of cabernet sauvignon that sits on the western side of Greenock Creek. Nary a herbaceous note in sight, the wine presents a rolling swell of red and blackberry and cherry fruits, cut with spice and cedar along with hints of crème de cassis, roasting game and turned earth. Fine, toothsome tannins and a bright sapid line of acidity provide ample cadence and support, finishing long, spicy and awash in pure fruit.
