My Wine Man on Vasse Felix. Vasse Felix is Margaret River's founding estate — planted in 1967 by Dr Tom Cullity. Today, under the stewardship of the Holmes a Court family and chief winemaker Virginia Willcock, the estate produces some of Australia's most celebrated whites and reds. The Karridale vineyard is one of Margaret River's most distinctive sites: rare quartz-based soils, persistent cloud cover, and biting cold winds from the Southern Ocean create conditions uniquely suited to Chardonnay.

Tasting Notes

Fine, persistent bubbles with a bright pale gold hue. The nose is refined and complex — white peach, lemon zest, and brioche, with a subtle toasty complexity from extended lees ageing and a fine chalky minerality.
