2020 Famille Perrin 'Les Crus' Chateauneuf-du-Pape Les Sinards
Famille Perrin 'Les Crus' Châteauneuf-du-Pape Les Sinards — Southern Rhône from a Legendary Family
The 2020 Famille Perrin Les Sinards Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a classic Southern Rhône Grenache-led blend from one of France's most celebrated winemaking families — the Perrins of Château de Beaucastel.
My Wine Man on the Perrin Family
The Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel are one of France's most respected winemaking dynasties. Les Sinards is their entry-level Châteauneuf-du-Pape — drawn from Perrin family vineyards across the appellation and made in the classic, fruit-driven Southern Rhône style.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby. Red plum, kirsch, raspberry, garrigue herbs, white pepper and a touch of spice. The palate is full-bodied with ripe tannins and a long, generous finish typical of warm-vintage Châteauneuf.
Style & Drinking Window
Full-bodied with ripe tannins and Southern Rhône warmth. Drinking well now and through 2030. Decant 1 hour.
Food Pairing
A warm-vintage Châteauneuf-du-Pape pairs beautifully with roast lamb. We love it with Australian Boneless Lamb Leg Roast from My Meat Man — slow-roasted with rosemary, garlic and a Provençal herb crust, a magnificent match for Les Sinards's red plum, kirsch and warm Southern Rhône spice.
