Rich, dark wine, with some violet perfume, but also a mahogany/walnut sort of thing happening, along with dark chocolate, and toasty oak. It’s full-bodied, has good concentration, and while the tannin is perhaps a little drying, it’s early days for it, of course. Coffee and iodine, silty tannin on finish of good intensity and length. Thick and sure-footed,
