Apparently blended, not co-fermented, with viognier. The bouquet is rich and expressive, with blackberry, satsuma plum and licorice to the fore, and continues on to the fore-palate. Like The Laird, to be judged for what it is, but here the alcohol burns too strongly on the finish and aftertaste.
