• Ice

Method: Fill a tall highball glass with ice. Pour in the Chivas 12, then gently top with soda water. Stir once to combine. Garnish with a lemon twist for a classic finish, or a thin slice of green apple to echo the whisky's own orchard fruit character. Chivas Honey Old Fashioned

• 60ml Chivas Regal 12
• 5ml honey syrup (equal parts honey and warm water)
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• 1 dash orange bitters
• Ice (large single cube)
• Garnish: orange twist, flamed

Method: Add the honey syrup and both bitters to a heavy-based rocks glass. Add a large single ice cube and pour in the Chivas 12. Stir gently for 20–25 seconds to chill and dilute. Flame a wide orange peel over the surface to express the citrus oils, then run it around the rim and drop it in.
