An austere style, but impressive, with its steely drive and length. It starts out a bit shy, with a hint of florals and dried herbs, but opens up to quite a generous palate for a Clare Valley riesling. As expected, lots of citrusy flavours of lemon and zest, tangerine too. The acidity appears soft yet refreshing.
