Opaque inky black dark red colour. Showing good intensity with aromas of ripe dark plum, liquorice and blackberries with some toasty vanillin oak and spice notes in the background. Sumptuous and juicy with a plush textural mouthfeel the palate has a flavour profile of ripe dark plum, liquorice and blackberries mingling with touches of toasty vanillin oak and spicy pepper showing excellent depth and persistence. It’s velvet smooth tannins and generous fruit profile make this wine ideal for immediate consumption but it is also capable of a further 2-3 years cellaring. A real Bobby Dazzler fruit bomb! An excellent match with roast pork.
