Coming from a patch of dirt with one of the highest elevations in the Barossa Valley and what a patch it is! This vineyard produces truly exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine is named after a true gentleman “Spog” Forrest, the man with a keen eye for good soil.

98/2% cabernet sauvignon/shiraz; vines up to 25 yo; matured 12 months in old French oak barriques. Classic Teusner fruit: glossy, juicy, accurate and enticing. Varietal, too – packed with mulberries, blackberries, a leaf of sage and a considerable dose of joy! Dark colour, fine-grained tannins and a generous dollop of classy dark chocolate French oak. The only question is whether to drink now or hold for a few years. You can't lose, either way.
