Best Pinot Noir - 2018 Royal Melbourne Wine Awards
Pinot Noir of Provenance- Royal Hobart Wine Show 2018
James Halliday's Review: A smart assemblage of clones MV6, 115 and 777, sourced across the Derwent and Tamar Valleys, in addition to fruit from the East Coast, all aged for 9 months in French oak (33% new). The result is one of composure. Plenty of tangy red fruit, sure, but crunch, sass and most impressively, a lithe, tight weave of real tannin, properly extracted with a rasp of whole-bunch (30%) briar and spice. Very good. Trophies Tasmanian Wine Show '19 and Melbourne Wine Show '18.
